my 200, 30, and 25 are all full to the top. whats the best place for me to get a 200+ humi. i dont care what it looks like and blemishes are fine, i just need it for the function. looking for something low priced.

In that case, and it pains me greatly to say this . . .

:eek:mg: :eek:mg: :grumble: :eek:mg:

Try "the 'T' word."

:eek:mg: :flush: :help: :pigsfly:

Yeah. The "T" word has some of the best humidor prices this side of ebay. (you can find a LOT of good deals on ebay). If you buyfrom Thompsons be prepaired for a follow-up sales call. They'll try to cut you a "deal" on some really crappy cigars to join their club. I recommend turning them down. We all have our different reasons. But over all, the club is a bad deal.

Or if you REALLY don't care what your humidor looks like, there was a thread on here a couple of weeks ago concerning the conversion of a cooler into a humidor.

saw the identical humidors as "t" on a web site. they was from same town. prices were the same, but no T name plate and no free green iguanas.

If you want to avoid the t-word and can wait 5 days or so we are getting in a bunch of humidor specials. 50CT Cherry humidor with humidifier and 50 cigars from Caribe (makers of camacho) for 79.95

Cigars are a fairly generic long filler called san marco which is a cigar that was more popular right after the boom but caribe stopped making them. We bought them on closeout. Anyway just a heads up if you are interested.

svenson i will be waiting to see what you get before i rush into a decision.

Definately dont rush. Everyone likes different things. I will be sure to post when they land and images go online.

At this rate I would almost suggest a Cabinet, humidors will start piling up all over the place...

I have never had a coolador, but have heard good things...

The Coolidor is a good way to go!
For under $50 you can have everything you need to store 50 boxes.

I'm with CC, a coolerdor will get you set now and for minimal cost. Later down the road when you know what you want, spend the money and get the cabinet. A 300 count humidor is great but you will out grow it in no time.

coolerdor it is, i had some money set aside for a big humidor... but now i can spend it on more cigar! :D Thanks for the imput guys i probably would have just ended up stacking up humidors like smoka pointed out. i already have 3 desktops so i just need the coolerdor for my boxes. i am still considering an idea my stepdad threw out about getting one of those wine fridges and storing boxes in the bottom and wine the top, have to do more research about controlling humidity in those.

And when you ARE ready to step up to a big league cabinet humidor, don't forget . . .

http://www.avallohumidors.com

I discovered them about five, six years ago, during my first days on the internet. They were probably operating out of somebody's garage, with two or three offerings. They have grown admirably, and I understand that people who have made purchases from them are very satisfied. They are a low priced alternative to the "big boys" of the cabinet humidor industry.

just set up iglooador. 72 is better than the 50 i had on shelves in closet. put a few cedar boxes in bottom, then set boxes and bundles on top, corrently have a damp sponge for my device. what can i use that is a little more high tech?

i use the jar humidifiers that my local shop sells, just because it is so easy to put them in and they hold a 70% RH very well. I paid $5 per jar and i have 4 or 5, but when they start to dry out you can add distilled water and they should last you at least a few years for each one

what can i use to get closer to 65? seen a post a while back about "climax beads" and no, they are not for anal experimenting.
