Oh how I wish I had listened to you all and just gone BIG at first. To all of you that have questions about how BIG a Humidor should be.......Get a BIG one first. This is #4 for me and I still think it may be a bit small. I am glad I hung on to my 300 count as well. The pictures are only of the new one. By the way....Did I ever tell you that I just LOVE RP Sungrown Torpedos....LOL, Anyway, On with the Show!!

how big is this one again?

They say 500 count, so I guess it's really a 350 or so. Hey that was my 200 th post!

Thats why I have a walk in/closet. It can hold 2000+ cigars...... I know because it is full! I have outgrown what I thought was enough room!

Nice stash.

I've outgrown mine too. I thought my frigidor would never get filled, then it was filled almost immediately. Now, its more than filled.

im just looking for one more 100 ct humi. I figure if i get more more room i will fill that too. Im a cigar smoker- Not a cigar collector.
right now i have a humi for every day smokes and one for aged smokes. one more will be fine by me. this will keep me from buying more than i can smoke.

Geez, I wish I wasn't a poor man working for the government. If I had the money, I would definitely have a surplus of cigars. At the moment I can barely fill a 25 ct humidor.

Nice collection, loving all the RP. I have a 300ct. and it is almost full and I am trying to moke 1 a day if not 2 on my days off. thoes boxes take up some room but they are filled with greatness.

I like to think of myself as a cigar smoker who collects. One of these days I will actually organize my humidors.

I will agree with Chris. I do smoke my fair share, but I also like to collect limited productions, coffins, and rare singles. If not just to show off, my wife can sell them when I depart this world.

as I have said so many times , GO BIG , BIGGER BIGGEST that you can afford at the time , right now I have 9 Humidors, & a travel humidor a coolador , all are some what full, I just got one back from my brother in law , he has a new 50 count of his own so he returned my loaner , Empty not like it was when I gave it to him to use , cheep bastard hahahaha , at one time I had a shower stall filled with boxes ( we have 2 bath rooms ) at one time I had 11K sticks right here in the house , ahhhh yes those were the days !!!

Enjoy, Vince

Been there, done that! I'm up to 6 now! I really want a large, stand-up version. One day...one day!!!!!

I think that I would rather be a cigar smoker than a cigar collector. I mean...if you think about it, we spend all this money on something that we're just going to burn anyway, so why just look at it. It was made to be smoked, and I'd rather enjoy a cigar in it's prime than look at it for a few years and have it be wasted. These people put lots of time and effort into making these blends and constructing these sticks. Why wait for a special occasion to smoke that Forbidden X...I think smoking it is a special occasion all it's own. I say light 'em up...

no contesting that.
I find, though that i spend a good amount of time on line looking up every thing about a cigar that i can. I like to know the wraper, the binder, the filler, the area it was all growen in, the people who rolled it, the history of the factory, bla bla bla...

I buy them because i want to smoke them. I buy faster than i smoke them. I am an accidental collector.

it's been a problem for me as well, a couple box splits, and one or two samplers....and bam...no more room..The worst part is The Big Smoke is tonight and I'm sure that I'll be picking up some sticks tonight...don't know where I'm going to be putting them...I'll just have to smoke them faster...2...3 a day...yea baby

I use 2 cabinets -
1 in my smoking room & one near my bed
