Well, I finally have an offical date. It looks like Sept 8th. I will not be bbq'ing this year. I am going to do a seafood boil, along with some smoked wild game. I have to clean out the freezer before the start of the season this year. So, make you plans to be there!

Lost in translation
Damn kid coming. I have a feeling the wife will be in labor or already have had the baby at that point so I am going to have to decline "again". I better not get her pregnant again next year so that I can go. I hope you guys have a great time. Ryan is a first class host. Enjoy.
There won't be as many cigars as last year, BUT, the food will be even better than last year. I do have some places to stay here, if you guys need lodging. I hope this was enough time for eveyone to make arrangments.

Thanks for the invite a bit ago. I don't know if I can make it, coming in from CT and all, but i'm gonna try and rearrange my schedule and get out their for the weekend. I'll let you know if I can make it. Kind of tough with 4 kids and their schedules. But, I'll see if I can bribe the wife!

Dang! I'll make it out there one of these days...just not this time around...I'll be in NC for a couple days for work the weekend after your bbq.
Sadly, I just received an invitation to a family wedding on this date. I am scrambling to get a new date. I think a fall BBQ would be just fine. I think I will look into October.
