All, I hope this isn't an annoying thread, but I'd love to lean on the experience of the members here to help me put together my next cigar order.

I'm sure like everything else, taste is subjective, but there has to be some well known cigars that can be considered a staple in everyone's humidor.

So, if you can answer the question "you haven't smoked a cigar, until you've smoke __________", then reply here.

Thanks in advance.

5 sticks I like not to be out of that you should not have a hard time finding.

Punch Gran Puro
Cusano 18 Double Conn.
Monetcristo White
Fuente Flor Fina 8-5-8
AVO XO

Then:

My top 5:

RP Edge Corojo
RP Vintage 90

For Food this is a long thought out and final list:

Rocky Patel Sun Grown

Bahia Maduro Torp. ( an old one from Costa Rica)

Hemmingway Masterpiece ( the best 3 hours of your smoking life)

Cuban Monte Corona ( nothing big or fancy just a GREAT smoke )

Marsh Wheeling ( hey you got to start some place )

Anything Free , yep IMHO nothing better that a FREE cigar !!!!
Enjoy, Vince

On my list of ones to try.

For me it is

Camacho Diploma
Camacho Coylor (little bombs)
5 vegas "A"
Cigar.Com Cuban label
Fuente Short Story
Gurka Double Maduro
RP vintage 90 and 92 (can't wait for the perfectos)
Cusano 18
Cusanno Corojo 1996

The list goes on but these are my tops

Por Larranaga Petit Corona (with at least two years age on it). Heaven.

Also: for the most consistent and classic cigar taste that is an all around great cigar: 5 vegas classic. I really like that cigar; and the price is great.

Ditto!
Haven't had the 1926, though. Just the '64. OUTSTANDING!

Throw in a C 18 paired maduro, CAO MX2 and Sopranos.

I totally agree. Eclipse_man gave me my first Padron '64. Thanks again, Eclipse_man!

I'd have to echo with those touting the Padron '64, they really are a super excellent smoke.
