I know, I know its so small. but its mine and this is the first time its been completely full.

But know that its full i was wondering if anyone has had trouble with over hydrating the cigars that are closer to the reservoir. And if so what can i do about it.

Oh and i will also like to open the floor to any ideas of what a man should do with a completely full humidor... I'm just stumped.

1. buy a cooler.
2. fill the cooler.
3. start again at 1.

also it helps to smoke more cigars.

to prevent some over hydration i would also use some beads or litter in there. Get two "units" filled with beads/litter in there along with your oasis. put one thing of beads next to the reservoir and the other one on the other side of the humi.
Every few weeks switch them. Beads are great for soaking up over humidification, and the beads on the far side of the humi will help maitain the RH farther away from the oasis.

as the saying goes around here...

just my $0.02

I doubt anyone here would minding helping relieve some of that over crowding. Just send a few of each to ...

Smoke em of course. That said if you plan on buying anymore and you are buy a bigger humi.

The only reasonable thing to do is to send it to me...full thank you very much!

LOL

All good suggestions....... but i think i like the one with me smoking the majority of them. However if someone happens to be in town for a Auburn football game, and we win ill gladly light one up with anyone who wants to join me

Oh did i mention we have to be playing a ranked SEC team and win by a touchdown in the last 35 seconds. Ahh details details.

P.S. thanks for all the help on the humidifier. However my question wasn't really answered. but i don't think i explained my situation very well so i think ill give it one more try if y'all don't mind.

i have a 200 count humidor with a Diamond Crown Diamond Crown Humidification System X-Large and I'm concerned with the cigars right underneath it (it filled right to the top). No one said anything so maybe no one has had a problem with it. if so great then I'm in the clear. i just don't want to have the top one soak up all the moisture.

Again thanks for all the help,

One of mine is also full!

I have a couple of Humidors, but the one that is full has 100 cigars in it and yes the humidor is full. I dip into this one when I want a certain cigar (yes, it's cataloged), otherwise it stays full!

Maintain proper humidity at any cost (beads, hmdfr. crytls.) etc....and a good digital hygrometer. If you have a tray in it, "I" try to keep the open slats clear (cigars away from the openings in the tray). I would like the humidity to circulate through the bottom back up to the top. And yes, I do try to keep the cigars some what away from the direct humidity device. I use a distilled humidifier (lrg.rectglr.).

I think you need to get another Humidor (only you know the size you'll need) so you can make some room in the full one. If you have to unload 250 cigars to get the one you want at the bottom, then it maybe just a tad too full.

And whether your humidor is full @25 cigars or 3,000, you still have to maintain proper humidity throughout (consistent quality of all your cigars, not just 250 under the tray)

Good luck :)

i always knew my posts weren't memorable...

awwwww I'm playing the smallest violin for you :p ... don't worry i read and remember your post. the only problem is that you mentioned a oasis. i thought that it might change since mine is above my cigars not beside them on one side or the other. But i am looking into your advice and I do appreciate your time.

Thanks Vincent

Thanks for the info Vincent. I dont have a tray in mine so i would have to dig if i wanted the one one the bottom. But luckly i arranged the cigars so i have a wide selection on top, and thinking about it know i dont remember the ones that are on the bottom.

War Eagle.......God i cant wait till football season. We got a crappy home schedule, but we got Alabama. Im ready to make it six in a row baby!!!!

Eli are you a student?

oh... my fault.

i thought by "reservoir" you meant "oasis reservoir"

nobody's perfect. Im living proof. :flush:

wilkiag, No I'm not a student. My wife is an Auburn Alum though. I did my undergrad work at Jacksonville.

i used the wrong terminology so my bad, but oh well no harm done. do you still suggest the same remedy?

that's cool just checking. but as long as you support the orange and blue then you are OK by me.
