Got a question on box storage...so far any boxes I've bought went directly into my humidor...now that I have a wine cooler on the way...I'll be able to build up a stock...so when I receive boxes that I'm going to store straight away...do I want to remove the plastic overwrap? Do I want it to be open a little? what's the best for getting that box acclimated to the humidity and settled so the sticks in them get acclimated.....wordy..I know..

Hatchetman...definitely pull off the outside wrap. Question for you - do you plan on storing all of these for a while - meaning at least a few months or more? If I have a box that I know I won't touch for awhile (I have been storing boxes for next spring/summer for the past two months) - I leave them right in the box and rotate them once every couple of months or so.....

yah...i think i'd like to start a stock of smokes to age at least 1 year..and some to smoke in 6 months...3 months...now...some different "caches" of aging....

real age starts at one year.
wait.... real age starts at two years.

i have an aging humi. i neede a bigger aging humi though. this one isnt quite enough.

ill buy a new humi soon enough and ill make my current main box the one for age and the hew one for every day.... or maybe the other way around. then i can age a ton. hmmmmm....
