Couldn't a person use RH beads to "salt test" hygrometers?

We know that beads are pretty reliable so if you use 65% beads, you could put the beads in a sealed container w/ your hygometers then adjust to 65% after a couple of days. Would it work?

although i have neither of these, the principle sounds right, as long as you do it in a tupperware container then it should be fine....because there is no wood to soak up the humidity and the bead manufacturers and also boveda says that in an air tight tupperware container the RH will be perfectly at what the beads/pack is rated at....just my .02, hope it's not too far off

i wouldnt trust it 100%.
i know my 65% beads have been off (on the high side) when i accidentally got them too wet.

Thanks Kuzi, thats really what I was wondering. Think I'll stick to salt testing.
