How often do you have to hydrate your beads?

crap, it seems like I have to rehydrate mine like every four days lately. It seems as if they dry out so fast. I would be concerned for my humidor seal, but the same thing is happening in three different humidors.

has it been really dry down there in TX? I've been rehumidifying mine every month or month and a half...those are by far the best investment i've ever made for my cigars and my sanity....

It has been dry but I think my air conditioner/ambient humidity is the problem. It appears that I havent been hydrating my beads enough. I socked it to them a few days ago and now I am at 63-64 in my cabinet and a desk top. Another desktop is at 66%.

Now that winter is here, we have stopped running our A/c and have run the heater only on occasion. Our temp. in the house is roughly 68 degrees. My humidors have now stabled out to what I like. Three humidors, three hygrometers, all holding at 70 degrees and 65% RH. I love it!

Interesting enough we are the opposite up here in the summer I only add water to my oasis about every 45 days but in the winter I have to add water at least once a week

I was hydrating my beads about every three to four days during the summer. Now its about once every two weeks or when my RH get to 62-63.

In the summer I add very little water and when winter, with my dry forced air heat, I add water once or twice a week at least.
