Monte Cristo White question

I am quite fond of the above cigars, but they have got really expensive, $10 ea, and I have not found a good replacement. They have an unusual flavor, which my supplier says is "cream and hazelnuts and vanilla"
My other favorite is an aged Upman gold Banker, but they are hard to find and also expensive.
The Upman Legacy is a good smoke, but not anywhere near as flavorful as the Monte Cristo White, which also seem to be wrapped to a greater density than the cheaper Upman.
Any ideas about a decent alternative in the $5 to $6 range?? I buy a box at a time, if that helps.
