having been cancelled from work once again, lit at 0039 hours was a Dominican Montecristo. I'm not sure if this was the regular line, as they have a tendency to put the same band on more than one type of cigar in their line, but it very well could have been the regular line Montecristo.
Through the years, although I have been scoffed at, I have found this to be one of the most consistent tasting and satisfying cigars. This 6.5x48 gem was no different. A bit of a tight draw, loosening up as the smoking progressed. Plenty of thick smoke, tasting of rich cream and those violet candies, which had a companion gum. I used to buy the candies back in the late 60's, early 70's. Don't know if they're around any more, but they were great candies, and that's basically what this cigar tasted like for the first two thirds, then moving into sweet tobacco flavors, with the violet candies still playing noticeably in the background.
Another great Dominican Montecristo experience, ending at 0159 hours. Almost always a wonderful smoke. Tonight the smoke was great, and the low life pieces of community destroying garbage were silent once again.
That's two winners in one night. Praise The Lord and pass the pumpkin pie. Oops, forgot, that doesn't start until next month.
