Size: 4.5x54 - Best Seller Perfecto
Price: $7.86 at cigar.com, not sure locally

Accompanied with an Iced Green Tea

Overall Appearance & Presentation: 16/20 - Lightly to moderately veiny wrapper with a light sheen of oil. An excessive amount of vegetable glue from forming the perfecto shape. Had a hole in the wrapper and it was coming undone at the very tip, however this was not a problem as soon as I lit it up.

Lighting & Burning Properties: 12/15 - Lit & burned uneven until about halfway. From halfway to 3/4 way it mostly evened itself out. First half burned kind of fast, especially considering this is the fattest part of the cigar.

Construction: 29/30 - Medium draw throughout the entire cigar. I guess I like a bit firmer draw than it provided.

Taste: 29/35 - What can I say, this size didn't live up to all the hype of the Hemmingway Series. Very creamy with a light pepper flavor. Started out with some sweetness but this left by halfway through. Unfortunately it was plagued by an occasional bitter taste all through the entire cigar, which got worse by 3/4 the way through. Medium finish that was a little peppery. Nice, rich aroma. I didn't experience this bitterness with the Short Story, which is the same length but a smaller ring gauge.

Total: 86

Value: 2 stars out of 5 - there are just too many better cigars out there that are similarly priced or cheaper, some which are half the price.

Comments: For some reason this size just wasn't as good as the 2 Short Stories I've tried. Maybe the extra leaf used to make the larger ring gauge tainted the mix somehow. I just couldn't get over the bitterness throughout the whole cigar. Not a very good cigar for the money IMHO.
