I've been wanting to try this cigar for quite some time now, and since my gf was kind enough to get me a few nice cigars for father's day (17 of them to be exact) I saved this for an after dinner smoke. I was going to let it age a bit but anticipation got the better of me. Besides, I've been considering buying a box and wanted to try it first.

I'd have to say Kuzi's review in his cigar catalog is right on the money. It was a perfectly constructed, smooth torpedo that started off with a leather and pepper flavor and a perfect draw that wasn't too easy or firm. The middle was a bit earthy and for me had hints of caramel, going back to leather and a slighty stronger pepper for the last 1/3 or so. This was a very cool burning cigar. To say it was a fingerburner does it no justice, this was a lip burner! Seriously, I smoked it downt obout 1/4" when it burned my thumb so bad that I dropped it and it took a roll under the shelf on my desk. Not extremely complex but a great smoke nonetheless. I won't mention the brand, but I would take this any day over a $23 smoke I recently tried. A definite 5 smoke rings. I couldn't agree with his review more. About the only bad thing I can say about it is that the first 1/2 inch didn't give a lot of smoke on the draw but that's nothing at all to complain about, especially considering the price. By 3/4 inch I was getting plenty of smoke to satisfy. I'm going to have to pick up a box of these before they're all gone and can't wait for the '07 Limitada to come out which I think is due pretty soon.

That's good to know since I just ordered a box this weekend. The 5 Vegas are quickly becoming my favorite everyday go-to smoke.
