Ok I smoked a Don Pepin Garcia cuban classic today. It was wicked bitter. I have had other Don Pepin cigars but this one was just well nasty. Did I simply get a dud or what?

Sorry Travis, that's how all Don Pepin cigars are. I'll take 'em off your hands though. I'll make that sacrifice for you, that's what kind of a friend I am.

But seriously, that is not a problem I've had with any of his cigars. I'm thinking it was probably a dud.

I happens from time to time. Did the cigar have a good draw? Sometimes when I have draw issues and I have to suck on it like a thick milk shake; the cigar can get hot and that will cause bitterness.

Must of been a dud. All that I've smoked fave been stellar sticks.

The draw was fine it was the taste that came with the draw that was the problem.

It was a DUD!

Out of the other four D.P.'s I have tried, the cuban blend was my least favorite. Everything about the cuban was great,, but the flavor compared to the others, was not as balanced or complexed (or is that perplexed  ). Anyway, as you go up the D.P. ladder, they get better and better.

Sorry you got a dud.

Have u tried the the Series JJ, if so, I need not say another word.
