cigar was from a box I ordered a while back that has some respect among those who prefer stronger, more fuller bodied cigars. As a result, I kept those I didn't send to friends for quite a while before I worked up the courage to smoke it. That is because I prefer Girly Man cigars. No, I'm not a Girly Man, but admittedly, I overwhelmingly prefer Girly Man cigars.

Sure enough, I can put drops of several hundred thousand Scoville hot sauces on sardines, burgers or steaks and not be overwhelmed by it, I have raised eyebrows and started conversations in coffee shops by ordering a ten-shot espresso in one cup, and most of the bourbons I prefer are pretty high proof, but when I smoke a cigar, it's the mild to medium ones I prefer.

I'm a little rusty on picking out the flavors on cigars, but this one definitely had a medium to full body and strong tobacco and earth notes, but not too spicy for my taste. After being cancelled at work last night and having a free morning, once I had my coffee, it was time to figure out how to handle the schedule for the rest of the week. A fhine, fhine, pttttttttttttemium cigahhh is the perfect way to meditate in a relaxing fashion while I put on my thinking cap. Although this cigar didn't overwhelm me with its strength (thank The Lord!!!) it was indeed a very slow smoke for a Churchill, and left me with the immediate need for some food, since I smoked it on an empty stomach.

Smoking time was from 1149 hours to 1353 hours, two hours and four minutes. That's a Lonnnnnnnngggg Churchill!!! If you're looking for an inexpensive, smooth, full flavored cigar, you might give these a try.
