This was a gift from Michaelsean. I was let out of work early on Friday morning, having switched Tuesday night with Thursday night this week, and at shortly after 0700 hours in New York City yesterday, the weather was breezy and almost downright cold, belying the incredible day that was to unfold.

Nonetheless, I had some serious time to kill before beginning my weekly schedule of freelance appointments, and I had been eyeing a certain cigar in my Havana Pocket Humidor, the Churchill sized beauty named in the headline.

It cut well and drew well. Nothing complicated about this cigar. A very smooth, rich tasting but very light bodied and pleasant Girly Man Special, just right fer this bourbon swillin' cowboyah! Nice typical light Connecticut shade wrapper flavors, toasty, with notes of oats (Whinnyyyyyyy!!!!! Hey Wilburrr!!!) and a little honey with a slightly spicy twist.

Knowing Mike's generosity and judging by the look of the double band, this baby was expensive. And good too. A change of pace if you're somebody who prefers the big, bold flavor and kick of a Jen U. Whine Kyoobin or just right, like the baby's porridge, if you're a guy like me.

In the windy, chilly New York City morning, as I ambled around midtown Manhattan, this smooth smoking Churchill took just 54 minutes, lit at 0731 hours and finished at 0825.

Carlos Torano Reserva Selecta, another winner from this label. Thanks Mike.

Really!!!!

Now THAT is food for thought. That was right up my alley, a light Connecticut shade wrapped Jen(nifer) U. Whine Bloofingtonian Girly Man Special; smooth, sweet and pleasant all the way through.

Not expensive at all he says. Now what did I do with that homeowner's insurance premium refund check? :? :? :?
