Okay, so it's not a big name cigar, just another one of those boring stories about a cigar that's been sitting in Desk Top II forever and a day, a cigar that someone sent me as a gift, BUT . . .

it was a beautiful sunny spring mid-60's day, the birds chirping, a bright blue sky, the sights and sounds of people in the neighborhood getting their yards ready, the local gun club over the hill in the background, a glass of fine bourbon named Pure Kentucky, and a cigar that was 6 5/8"x48. It was nicely constructed with a perfect draw and gave flavors of earth, raisins, unsweetened dark chocolate and with a strong undertone of char throughout the the first half. In the second half the flavor changed up to licorice, with the raisins holding up occasionally, and the earth chiming in to say it was still there.

Overall, a very nice cigar, a good, satisfying, pleasant spring's day smoke, with the flavor profile accompanying my bourbon wonderfully. It took from 1403 hours to 1527 hours to smoke it.
