Cigar Trade New Year's pass

This is just a heads up for all you guys out there. After the fun of Christmas and the holidays are out of the way I am going to start the New Year box pass. I will ensure that all other passes have been completed before I post a sign up list as to avoid any confusion boxes flying around. Normal rules of participation will apply (see box pass one and two for conditions).

As some pre pass fun I am going to hold a contest. Whoever comes up with the best twist on play (i.e. blind pass, random participation) will get a bonus from me. Please PM me with your ideas and I will choose the best one. Please keep you ideas reasonable and within minimal cost. The last day for submission will be 12-31-2006. I hope I hear some good ideas. I would like to try something that we haven't done before.

If I don't hear from you, have a happy holiday guys and lets plan on having some fun in the new year.

David, I liked that box pass we did ages ago, where the participants sent their sticks to a common location (I think it was my address, don't remember that for sure though) and then that person sends the cigars' bands out to the pass folks at random inteverals. If the participants correctly guessed what happened to the cigars that their bands matched, they won some kind of prize. (Like a cigar jar memorial filled with the ashes from the cigars.) I'll volunteer as the collection point again since it went so well last time.

I was thinking maybe have every person in the pass place an enveloped mystery stick in the box and take a ticket number. After the pass is completed have a neutral party draw a number and the winner gets the mystery sticks.

That or just send them all to me. :lol:

Sounds like fun, nice twist to the pass. After seeing the box when it got to kelvin I'd love to get in on this one. I was a little taken back by the collection I saw.
