Hi everyone. I was just wondering what a group buy would be. I am fairly new to cigars (smoking stogies for maybe 2 yrs now) and have not heard of group buys before. What exactly is it? I know its a stupid question because I am kind of figuring something in my head but I figure I would rather ask a stupid question than act like I know it and look even stupider. haha.

It is where you can get a quantity discount on a product. So you get a group of people to purchase the item.
For example, sometimes a new cigar comes out or there is an expensive brand you want to try, but not buy a whole box. You could post a thread saying, "I am buying a box of ABC cigars), anyone interested in going in on it". Have them PM you for the details (we don't want prices posted on the forum). I haven't done one in a while but I really think it's a great way to get 4-6 cigars to try out of a box.
