I have not had the pleasure of doing business yet with cigar.com, but I use J&R quite a bit because the prices are right.

How about the rest of you gents???

Best To You All!

In my opinion, Cigar.com is the best website to purchase cigars from in my experience. They just have a better selection and prices than most other websites.

I shop at several websites but since this is a Cigar.com forum I am not going to mention who they are. I can safely say you get what you pay for, and the service and knowledge of the cigar.com staff is second to none... :D

internet retailers

Cigar.com got me started with great, great suggestions. If you value service- spend your money with Cigar.com.You can beat there price by a few pennies, but they will earn your business.

I would have to say CIGAR.COM are really excellent - I am in the UK and my orders do take a little longer to reach me, as i am excited to get them i do call (often) and find out where they are and Corey is very helpful -

oh my god that sounded like a commercal !

Thank you everyone for the great feedback. I am glad to see there are still people out there that still believe in the value of service, speed, and freshness. I have enjoyed following your discussions on this forum.

I think I placed my order with Cigar.com back in '02. I originally did it because of price as the local guys are kind of expensive even for boxes. What brought me back was the service, and the speed of the deliveries.

I'm not sure how the whole opporation works now, but I started working with an account rep last year and that has actually made things even better since he can either get me things that aren't listed and make suggestions.

I think CIGAR.COM is the best place on the web to purchase cigars. I have never been disappointed with any of my purchases. Their customer service is superb. I also belong to their "Cigar of the Month Club" and it is excellent.

Thor and Alex, you are to be comended for your attention to detail and customer service. Thank you.

Wow! Thank you for the compliments! :D :D It's a nice gesture to know we are being appreciated. Alex and I are afterall, avid cigar smokers who are lucky enough to make a living through our awsome hobby. We're both pretty young and started when we were 14. Although I've only known him for about 6 months now, I feel like a lost cousin, since we are both huge cigar junkies and can't stop talking about it, even when we aren't at work. I can't wait to start having some Cigar event's and if in the Chicago area I hope you would look us up or come to have some cigars!! Thanks again!! :D

I usually use, in no particular order:

Cigarbid.com

jrcigars.com

mikescigars.com

I also use others, but these seem to get most of my business.

I'm new to cigars and have only used two online retailers. I like Cigar.com best because I can buy singles at decent prices. Being new I havent decided which brands will be my mainstays. Also the site is easy to use and I really like the rateings listed with the upper tier sticks. As for service I have not had any problems, to me thats a good thing. :D

after smoking 6 years, it just recently came to my attention that i could buy online for less. my first and only purchase was from jr, i am pleased, my next, will be 2 or 3 smaller orders,as to see what is out there. i will try CIGAR.COM as i am on CIGAR.COM website and feel that they should of had first purchase, have a list of about 20 diff. sites. i am trying to narrow to 2 or 3 sites. i dont care if its a buck or 2 diff. just want to place an order for GOOD cigars and get them fast without being raped. no one site has everything and my busseness experience has taught me to always use more than one supplier, evan if one gets 95% of my bussiness[not cigar bussiness]

I've appreciated Cori at Cigar.com the last couple of years. He has always taken good care of me. I was recently told he is no longer in a sales position there. I've been contacted by a fella by the name of Mark I beleive, but have not purchased any cigars from them in awhile. I'm sure I will at some point in the future.

The Vilizan cigars that come thru JR's all taste the same to me. No variation. I get the catalog and it sounds more and more like Thompson advertizing. I don't forsee any purchases there in the foreseeable future.

I've done business with Holts in the past and find them on level with Cigar.com. I ussually will check prices at both, then make my purchase accordingly.

Mr. Bundles on occassion as well.

holts.com, cigarsinternational.com and cigarbid.com are all good. i do find a few places slightly cheaper, but the service and quick shipping / delivery (all of them are next day to me at their lowest shipping rates) make them good choices for me
