VERY Newbie Question

As a relatively new cigar smoker I have never purchased an entire box of 'gars seeing as I am constantly trying new sizes, brands and flavors. However, now with Cigar bid and a few favorites under my belt, I'll be buying a few boxes. My question is if you buy a box of cigars, is each individual stick wrapped? I ask because I would be putting them in my humidor with a bunch of other cigars and do not want the flavors to blend.

Thanks,
Andrew

Depends on the brand and size. Most manufacturers use cello wrapping on all cigars.

I have heard this question many times:
i do not believe that cigars marry enough to worry.
Hell if that were the case I'd put one cheap"O" in every good box.
That would be great! For every box of smokes you change one cheap cigar into a great cigar!
Does not happen, but if worried - place a peice of cedar (the kind the comes in every box) between the cigars to keep the from touching.
But I would not worry, every cigar has a blened of it's own and will always taste different.

I' agree wth da' castle man! The flavors will not marry. I' mean i' have my Bolivars with my R&J's and my Partagas etc. Been doing this fopr years and never had a problem. I' mean like Castle said if that was true I' would buy some non-cubans and put them side by side with my habanos and then tha' Nc's would tast like habanos :D ! But that;'s not gonna happen bro :( .

If you have any flavored cigars like Acid or anything with an artificial aroma, don't even put them in the same box. Not that the other cigars will start to taste like Acids, but they'll definately smell like them.

Acid aroma

I keep a couple of Acid cigars in my humidor for that very reason. By themselves, they are too much; but I like the light touch of aroma they give to the rest of the humidor. I keep them in a little compartment separate from the rest of the cigars; but the air gets to all of them.
