being in college, money is scarce, but i also cant go a long time without a cigar, what are some suggestions for an everyday smoke that wont kill my wallet?

Check out pages 4-6 of this forum. There are threads there with suggestions in any price range and also for those on a budget.

I am surprised no one has mentioned old faithful. Flor de Oliva bundles. Hailed by smokers everywhere as best value smoke.

Oliva - Flor de Oliva

i was going to buy a few of those with my last order last week, i think they were sold out of the sizes i wanted when i placed the order.

I'll revisit this and ask the question. What are some good everyday cigars that you guys like? I know I'll be on a budget in a few months and would love some suggestions.

when i liked a more mild smoke i used to like the brand "free Cuba"

Sancho Panza is good.

and of course 5 vegas.

...did i forget the cigar.com house blends?

Wow Aubrey, drudging up some old threads!

Once golf season starts - my everyday smoke will be Jose Piedra Cazzadores. Not the greatest construction (that is being kind) but always draws well and is hard to beat for the price.

The sweet spots of the industry at this time, imo, are as follows:

5 Vegas Classic, 'A', and Shorty...'A' being the top of the price point

Sol Cubano Conn., Maduro, and Sumatra.

MAXX by Alec Bradley

any Padron under $5 (which I would consider the top of the price point)

and Gurkha - His Majesty's Reserve (Tubed)

with the overall winner being the Sol Cubano Conn. or 5 Vegas Classic

I do not get the chance to smoke everyday, but my go to is a RASS, followed closely by PSD4 and Boli RC's

Really slummin' it huh Craig?

I don't get to smoke every day but here are some that I try to always have in my humidor

5 vegas classic (any size will do)
REO by Rocky Patel robusto
Por Larranaga panatela (havana)
Bolivar PC (havana)
PLPC (havana)

Even though I have only had one; I will second the JLP cazador; that is a tasty smoke for the money.

Even though I don't get to smoke everyday, my normal rotation includes RASS, RYJ Exhibicion #4, and SLR Serie A.

Cigar.com Cameroon is still one of my favorites and at less than $2.50 a stick.

RP indian tabacs...usually around $2.00 a stick
RP Maduro Selects $2.00
JM cigars (Also rated high in robusto size I think) $1.18 a stick
AF Brevas Royal 1.18 a stick if you look around
I can tell you were to get a sampler online that comes out $2 a stick and they are a little higher end smokes...but I think the policy is not to give out cigar websites...so PM if your interested.
Also, I know where you can get cusanos for 54.00 a box plus shipping.
