If the terms of the Cuban embargo were modified tomorrow to allow internet sales to the USA, what Cuban cigars would you order and why?

Purely an academic question- I do not abide the breaking of our laws.

Man, I can't believe this thread isn't on its 3rd page already! As for me it's an easy choice....any Cuban will work for me. I haven't been fortunate enough to experience a Cuban cigar. Simp

From my little experience in Cuban Cigars, I would buy Hoyo Short Robustos, PSD #4, Cohiba Rob's, Hoyo Epicure #2 and Trinidad Robusto Reyes. I guess I'd buy any of the Hand mades just to get my palate up to par on Cuban cigars, but that is where I would start.

I already have too many to count. So, I'd wait a month, then when Opus X drops to a reasonable price, I'd get them and my other N/C favorites. They'd go for pennies on the dollar.

I'd probably start off with Gurkha. The Spacely Sprocket shaped things. Aside from just thinking the shape is cool (as it reminds me of some of my favorite cartoons), I like the way cigars of that form factor start out spicey, mellowing out a bit in the middle, and ending with a strong finish. At least that's been my experience.

As I can legally buy most of the stuff already I'd probably want to get something I can't usually buy because they don't have it at the tobacconist. I've never smoked a Cuban Partagas before and I hear they are very good. So that's what I'd probably buy.

The Partagas Serie D No. 4 are out of sight.

I just happened to buy a 3 pack of Partagas Serie D No. 4 today. I must say they do look very nice. I'll wait a while before I smoke them though.

As a follow up to my: Cubans legal via internet.
A friend will be visiting this summer from the UK, and he will bring a box of Cubans as a gift.He buys from the free zone in Spain and gets great prices on real Cubans.I'm looking for recommendations like I got from Nate and Bloof. Such as:
Cohiba VI
Sancho Panza Bellicoso
Punch Punch
Diplomatico #2
Monte #2
Hoya Double Corona
and so on.
What is the best on the market today?
I know you guys get them ( Cubans) and smoke them.
What's hot and what's not.

You got most of the ones I would recommend.
Here are some more if you are so inclined...
Montecristo Edmundo
Trinidad Robusto Extra
Bolivar Petit Corona
Saint Luis Rey Double Corona

Malone,

dont forget to pick up a vegas robaina (Unico size) it is roughly the same size and shape as the monecristo no. 2 only i find them more enjoyable. Plus that brand is kind of unique as it flies under the radar.

Of course there is always my all time favorite cohiba siglo V also but they are pricy.
