I got the silver one. It doesn't exactly have that classic Colibri look that I wanted, but the price was right. And it's broken my record for butane lighters: It worked for more than an hour! Now all I have to do is send in the warranty papers, and I'll be good to go. Next on my list: Humidor.

Nice...Take care of it and it will take care of you.

What type humidor are you going to obtain? And the number of cigars you expect to hold in it?

Check some recent forums for some "home made humidors" I just finished mine and a seal test.. works great hold about 25 cigars. besides thats the most I would have neways... good luck

Congrats on your new lighter. I started out with a 25 count humidor, then a 150, then a 300 and now, finally a 500!! I know I'm going to get a tower one of these days so I might suggesting starting off with a bigger one, if you're anything likew me, I tend to take things all the way. When I get into something, I really dive in. But ten years later and I have a bunch of humidors. It might save you some time and space in the long run. I have a 25 count at the office though. So it still came in handy. :D

I was thinking about building a humidor, but what I'll probably do is get one on eBay. I'd like one that holds 75-100 cigars and costs $50 or less. I'm not too picky about looks (although I don't want anything fugly). All I want is something reliable to take the place of my Kahlua Robustos box. Don't worry, I have a little humidification pouch in it, but I lack a hygrometer, so it's anyone's guess as to whether or not it works well.

As long as your cigars aren't hard when you give them the squeeze test between your thumb and forefinger, it's doing okay. A little give but not soft and mushy, but if they're hard and crackle, no good.

Cool. I'm doing alright, then. But better safe than sorry. I'll definitely be acquiring a humidor in the near future.

I bought a humidor on ebay last September. It's a burlwood 50 count. It came with all the hydro peices and was shipped to me for a grand total of $35. It works perfectly and was highly economical!
