I am fairly new to cigars and have tried many in the last year, mostly through the cigar of the month club. However, by far the best was a Cuban Paratgas de Luxe that I had while in Mexico last week. I was hoping some of you more experienced than I could recommend 2 or 3 that, in you experience, compare to this wonderful cigar here in the good old USA. Thanks.

Thats a tough one...I don't know that cigar all too well, in fact, not at all since I've never had the pleasure to smoke that particular one.

Mexico you say? Where did you buy it?

It's hard to find the Cuban quality, I believe, in any non Cuban Cigar, what was it about this cigar that you enjoyed so much?
Maybe then I could scrape together a couple ideas...

Can you describe your experience??

The size was like a Double Corona and the feel was very smooth. The draw was fairly tight but still easy. The smoke was as thick and white as any I have seen. My wife even commented on the pleasant smell, not knowing what I was smoking.

The cigar was full flavored but smooth. I would call this a medium-bodied cigar. I sensed a little bit of cocoa and nutmeg, maybe a bit of nuts and leather. Very rich.

Another aspect was its absolute consistentcy from the first light down to the nub. It might help to know that I enjoyed this after a very nice Mexican meal. I purchased the cigars in Cabo. Thanks for your help.
