i brought it back without the clutter because i really enjoyed reading this topic. I just got home from work and it is time for a sancho panza (my first ever) and a glass of johnny walker black label (also my first ever, outside of drunk bar nights). Its a night for new things for me, what about all of you?

Well, for the first time, you aint holdin' nothin' back :D ! For me, I was off today so I had time to enjoy a Cuesta Rey #47 Robusto. Very good cigar, if you like mild cigars. It was accompanied by a tall glass of good ol' Southern sweet tea. Not a bad afternoon at all. Simp

Yeah, it's given me some ideas selection-wise. Today is an Ashton day:
Morning- Ashton Cabinet belicoso
Lunch- Ashton Heritage corona gorda (my first)
Tonight- Ashton VSG torpedo

I had a Fuente maduro Exquisito earlier, and now I'm off to have a Double Chateau Fuente in maduro.

Fuente maduro Exquisito

LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is the only NC cigar I smoke all the time.
Not sure what it is about these little smokes, but damn I had 4 today.
At $80 for 50 sticks I can afford to smoke them!
I also had a Partgas Short and a root beer soda.

Fuente Fuente OpusX perfection X. Great cigar rated a 91. Good flavor, good burn. Came unwrapped at the end though

cc and wolf, im going to search my fuente humidor and see if i have any of these because i haven't tried one. If not it sounds like i should pick one up and try it. $80 a box + something people will smoke all the time always gets my attention.

If you buy a box and don't like them I will buy them from you!

chateau fuente..currently my favorite smoke. At 3.50 a pop its not bad on the billfold. I like the natural wrapper over the maduro on this cigar. It seems alittle stronger to me. Have a double chateau I will be testing out in a week or two.

Last night I smoked a San Cristobal ce La Habana, La Punta.
It's a torpedo and I loved it! It was the first San Cris I've smoked and it was awsome, I smoked an Opus Super Beli after, and it completely changed how the Opus tasted....I should have started with the Opus...

this weekend, my roomate is out of town so im going to have to entertain myself. i think 2 full days of drinking beer and smoking cigars is reasonable, dont you?

Where are you guys finding those boxes for $80?? They're $109.95 for a box here on cigar.com. Hmm...

I lied...instead of having a Double Chateau, I had an 8-5-8 maduro. Just finished another Exquisito a few minutes ago...good stuff.

The other night I had a Peterson with my boyfriend and we were rather disappointed. It was mild and consistent but bland. The aroma was wonderful, I actually thought about just letting it burn so I could just smell it, but there was nothing in the taste. No spice, no fullness, no nothing! I was really excited about that one too!

tonight i had a cao l'anniversaire maduro. very smooth, a little plugged though, i saved it with a pin. still very nice smoke. the flavour didnt change through the whole smoke, i was suprised, the first inch seemed like it wanted to develope into something much stronger but it didnt. i would say it was on the same smoothness level as the c18. and a nice hint of chocolate was welcome. after that i filled up on pizza and beer while i watched lethal weapon. it was a good night.

This afternoon I had the Ashton Aged Maduro no. 60, and after dinner I fired up an Opus X Reserva D' Chateau. The Ashton had a near perfect burn while the RDC had to be re-lit twice. Luckily it has such a great aroma and full body that wasn't affected by the burn too much.

I am always having to relight my opusX and you are right, it doesnt matter with a taste like that.

Just finished that Double Chateau I spoke of earlier. Pretty good, but I think I like the 8-5-8 better.

i finaly smoked the diploma i got a while ago. it was wonderful! had to use a roach clip on that thing. im glad i waited so long to try it, today was perfect. sunny, slight breeze and warm
