Macallan, Cigarsmoka, Cian and all my other forum friends have helped me toward my quest to find a better cigar. I'm becoming a better cirar person because of their threads.
I just tried a Oliva "O" Maduro Ole 4.75X50.
Chocolate, toasted almonds with an orange finish. Taste 10.
All other qualities A+++.
It was so good, I ordered a box from Cigar.com in addition to my regular Padron 3000's.
I reserve the right to change my mind after a box, but the Oliva Ole could be my regular daytime cigar.
Give this cigar a try if you like quality Maduro's- value priced.
Thanks for the recommendation.
Do not overlook the Orion 7x54. Big & beautiful and only pennies extra.

Oliva has put out some bargain basement winners over the past few years. Their cigars offer great taste, high quality construction and draw for the working man/woman's budget.

Send a note to Tiny Tim. He has tried every one of them, and seems to enjoy them. He can point you to the better deals and tastes.

Malone.....have you tried the Cubita SMS? Really a fine cigar and priced to sell, good flavor profile, has been nick named the poor mans Opus. Might be something you want to check out. Taste nothing like an Opus to me but a quality smoke none the less. Another cigar I'm really liking right now is the Torano Signiture Perfecto, just a great little cigar, very similiar flavor profile to the Padron 3000, smokes great and can be had for about 25 bucks less than the 3000 from some venders.

Macallan, they were delivered yesterday, but no word yet....

I still enjoy most Padron maduros as well the Olivas, but I've really been more into natural wrappers lately....I always change back and forth.

Cigars arrived. I am still waiting to hear if you found the French Sauterne at Binnys.
Strange as it may sound, I like the Padron 3000 better than the Padron 1964's. Couldn't finish the last 3 inches of the 1964 due to strong nicotine taste. Never had this problem with 2000,3000 & Churchills.

I think I'll have to order some Oliva Maduros and a few others from cigar.com. This way I'll have some new sticks to try once my mouth heals (wisdom tooth)...Not to mention what the box pass will bring me

Sometimes when I get a new box of cigars- I go crazy. Smoke then or throw them away. I threw away the Oliva box, but have smoked the Oliva Ole for the last three days. Half of the box is gone, and each one is as good as the first. I will always have time for a Robusto, and the Ole at 4.75x50 is perfect. This is a find. At a little over 4 bucks a smoke- this might be the best of the best. Try this one and you may never shop again.
The Oliva's rule.

Cian- my Goldens love it.

I had an Oliva Classic over the weekend and it (too) was a great cigar addition to the Oliva line! The construction was top notch and the cigar burned perfectly. Taste? True to form, it was a typical Oliva tasteful cigar. I would put it on the mild/medium side.

Another winner by Oliva! :!:

I love your picture Tiny Tim. Sharks are my favorite sea creature, so we'll get along just fine. I DO think however, that my nose is still bigger than yours.

Yes the O Classic is great. Oliva is trying to phase out the O Bold and go back to the classic. Kind of funny, they start with the original o blend, discontinue it and go to the bold, and now want to discontinue the bold and go back to the classic. Oliva is trying to achive perfection. We are going to bring in the classic as well as the Flor de Oliva 10 anniversary blend and the Flor De Oliva Gold in the coming weeks and they should be featured in an upcoming cigar of the month club.

Please write Oliva and request that they keep the "O" Maduro line.
The 4.75x50 & 7x54 are just kick ass. The blue band is always an adventure to remove but never a problem. The wrapper just won't rip or tear.

O Bold

Ther are no plans to discontinue either of the O Bold Lines especially the maduro. The only change right now is the band from cloth to paper. Not to worry!

I have never had a bad Oliva cigar! I started smoking the original blend several years ago, and have had about every line they produce. These cigars are extremely well made; each one of them!

Long live the Oliva's!!! :D

Olivas are they really that good?

Hell yeah. they are!

They are Awesome. Im glad that the Olivas are getting the attention they deserve. Best part about the Olivas is I can buy my Padron Anniversarios and then cop a box of Oliva Classics and because the 'O' Classics are so tasty , It helps me perserve my PADRON Anniversarios, baby.
