Restoration of U.S. & Cuban Trade

Just trying to get the forum's general opinion on the likelhood of this event and/or what conditions will encourage this.

My opinon is that it will take the passing of Mr. Castro before the U.S. would ever consider the re-establishment of trade with Cuba mainly due to the grudge we hold regarding the missle crisis.

If we're hanging our hat on the human rights issue, its unfortunate because there are other countries with more unfavorable human rights records, which are communist, but have trade ties with the U.S. such as china.

I'm just looking forward to the day we can purchase some Cuban smokes from cigar.com and, also, go down to a beautiful Cuban resort for an amazing caribbean beach vacation.

What does the forum think?
 
What's the matter? Don't you know Boastradamus predicted in 1146 that Castro would live to be 813 years old? FugghedaboutdemCubancigahz.
 
it is estimate dthat if the embargo lifts cuban prices will raise 60% and be scarce and of poorer quality. But I imagine there will be another boom and people will just enjoy cigars period. Maybe then we can lift some of these dumb smoking bans. But I do love a good cuban.
 
Market demand will dictate prices.
Current big name independent guys with cash Oliva,Padron etc. will return to Cuba.Will be a big fight with big cigar companies- rules have generally been set. Money rules. Could be a boutique market.
Blends will be offered into current production cycle- 2 to 3 years.
Puro's will still be offered at high prices but blends will be market price.World prices will dictate.
Take your heart out of the process. Money rules.
