CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA!!!!
Just thought I'd post a little review of the Cusano 18 Robusto I just finished and get others opinion on this stick. First off, the construction seemed very good, though the cap was a little narled, nothing the cutter didn't resolve quickly. Toasted the foot with a torch and gently blew out. The first thing I noticed was the zesty flavor of the wrapper, really enjoyed just having the stick in my mouth, let alone the smoke itself. The stick started pleasantly robust, nice and spicey with a woody finish on the the tongue, but mellowed on the the strength between a quarter to half way through. The rest of the smoke gave a great array of changes between the initial spicey, pepper, to the smooth woodsy/leather that I always enjoy. Only thing I didn't like was the finish, seemed a little sour twords the nub, even with blowing through it, just couldn't seem to mellow it out any. The wrapper did start to come apart a little, but at a point that didn't spoil the entire smoke. Overall it was a very enjoyable smoke, and for the price I wasn't disappointed at all. I was suprised it was a zesty being aged for 18 years, but I would recommend it comfortably.

Anyone else have thoughts/opinions?

I've heard very similar reviews - have put my order in for a few of those and will let you know in due course! Looking forward to sending one up in smoke tho! 8)

i love full bodied cigars but when i want a nice mild cigar i turn to the 18, gurkha symphony, or diamond crown

I particlarly recomend the 18 for someone who is new to cigars and is not sure what to start with. Great all around cigar. Have had a few that did not sit well but for the most part I have enjoyed them.
