I need to re-humidify my humidors. I need to transfer my stash to a coolador in order to do that.

Can anyone recommand a cooler/storage unit that will accommandate 150-200 cigars?

Thank you in advance.

I saw one at wal mart saturday when I was picking up some 30-06 ammo, I think it was called Igloo Ice Cube and it was around 48qt. I don't think it was more than 20 bucks. You won't need more than that for 150-200 cigars. Just make sure you wash it and air it out to get rid of the plastic smell. If you have any cigar boxes around put them in there before placing them in the cooler. You should place a humidification device in the cooler, and if you're not in too much of a hurry let the empty boxes sit in there overnight so they stabilize. Otherwise they will rob your smokes of their humidity...right everyone :?:

Also if you lay it flat 9like it is made to sit)
Make sure the boxes are off the bottom. Use some cedar blocks
I had one get very damp along the bttom - caught it before it truned into a nightmare but with no circulation the humidity will gather at the bottom!

For just a couple of hundred cigars and short term storage a large tuperware container, and humidifier device will due just fine. No need to get too fancy unless your planning on longer term storage.

Yea Man, The "Ice Cube" is the way to go. I am operating two right now. As recommended, fill the bottom with cedar blocks (available from your local cigar store, usually free) and clean it out real good. I like mine soooo much I keep all my boxes in the "CUBE". Pretty "Wooden" humi's take lots of TLC. I travel a lot so I needed something that takes care of itself. The Cube is pretty much "AirTight" so there is very little maintenance.
