For gun enthusiasts

that is a very nice case, but i think ill buy cigars with my $500 for now.

Someone needs to make a cigar case and a 1911 holster all in one. Then they would get my business. Extra clips and extra stogies all in the same place :D

Most "gun enthusiasts" shy away from Galco due to the fact that they are a copycat company. They rarely design their products, they steal other's designs and mass produce them in quantity so they can sell cheaper. (Of course the quality is not as good!).

I am one of those who feel this way and there are other's here on Amback that feel the same way.

You'll get no argument from me that Galco isn't the best out there. I was surprised when my brother told me he bought their holsters, I thought he'd have better taste  . For my 1911's it's Tucker gun leather.

That said, I think Galco is a pretty common choice. Sure there's better out there, but there's worse too.

I'd love to see someone shooting IDPA with that :2guns: .

I got an old book on cigars from the library. Had a pic of a custom cigar case done by Wild Bill Cleaver, next to a winchester 1892. Got me thinking woulnd't it be natural for leather holser makers to also make cigar cases. But searching I could only find the Galco.

For gun leather I always liked Bianchi, but Galco was written up in the American Rifleman a few months back in the product review area. Those guys seemed to like them alright.
