The other thread was just getting to huge so I thought we could start over.

6/8 Good lunch today

Barberpole Churchill - A little young but nice mild smoke with a tight draw.

Danli Reserve Corona - Great short smoke. Medium body.

 Danli Reserve Limited Ed. Sun Grown Torpedo  - Buy this cigar. Great presentation, great price, great taste. Full bodied with lots of spicy earth tones. Limited release only available around fathers day and christmas. I backordered some when they first came out and they just hit my door. LOTS OF FLAVOR :D

Hmmmmmm...... Not really comparable to anyting I have smoked. It was a little harsher than the corojo dark. It is made at the same factroy by Camacho. It definately has more balls than the VSG and Fuente Sun Grown. The areomas were burnt earth and spice. The aroma is defiantely unique but smoke it slowly becuase it gets hot fast.

It also had the new bands on it. The original release had cheaper paper looking bands. The last 3 danli reserves I have smoked and purchased have had high end thick white bands with embossed font. The sun grown had a second band that said limited edition 2005. The box was the same design only orange with an orange ribbon inside.

It is no camacho corojo but for the price I cant pass up a box for the humi.

Sounds good to me, looks like I'll be giving these a try. Thanks for the never-ending info!

Ha ha, I was thinking the same thing :)

This morning I had a CS. After eveything I've read about it I knew it would be great early in the day...and it was. Much better experience than the one given to me after dinner a couple weeks ago.

I Love the CS!!!!

Great Cigar for the Price Especially!!

Damn....Had the CS on the way home today!! Lovin it! box is in the very near future! Thanks for the heads up on the Sun grown Mac, lookin forward to trying it.

i too love the choix supreme, and have a box :D although i didn't smoke one today.

I had a AVO (my first ever) but it was a real skinny cigar and although the flavors were good i won't go with that size in the future. I also had a RyJ reserve maduro which i definatly enjoyed.

A Cohiba Siglo VI- pure Heaven.
My thanks to Cian who recommended this cigar.
My special thanks to my friend who helped me arrange this transaction.
The best I have ever smoked.
Malone

As a follow uo to my Cohiba Siglo VI- I received today a box of 29 cigars- Opus X Super Belicoso. They were specially boxed for me and sealed with a letter from Fuente. How did I get them at a reasonable price? I networked and would not accept no as an answer. I was polite but knew I could find someone who wanted to do business at manufactures suggested price. It took me a while, but one must be determined. I was and succeeded. My suggestiuon to all my friends is think outside the box and reach out with ideas other than one's pocketbook. It is the art of the deal. Do not ask how I did this- I will not reply. I did it and you can too. My source is private and I will not disclose it. I may be new to cigars but I am savy in the art of the sale.
My friend.
Thanks
Malone

Congrats Malone!!!

Great Size for the Blend, one of my favorites hands down!!

last night i had a punch rare corojo, didnt see what the big deal was.

Last night I had a Montecristo H2000 Buena Fortuna from 1998, courtesy of axegod75. At the beginning it just exploded with flavor, and then after an inch or two it evened out pretty well. A good smoke, overall.

Just finished a Honduran Primero Churchill. Wasn't too crazy about it. It wasn't a bad cigar, but it just wasn't up my alley.

i had a padron 3000 today... had to go back to the basics. I really enjoy sitting down with one of these every once in a while and just taking in the experience and memories of my first "real" cigar experience

I had a Padron Fuma sent to me by bildo a little while ago...pretty good smoke. I'll have to get more of these.

Oh man, I just had the worst cigar probably on the face of the earth, Guantanamera Cristale. I just couldn't smoke this thing, the taste was terrible. I know it's a new cuban brand that just started out but this is ridiculous. If someone offers you one of these run the hell away!

6/9

Camacho Corojo Dark Monarca:

Even though I let it sit out for a few hrs prior to smoking, it must have still been too humid from the water pillow (not that I'm complaining, I have a nice collection of them now). Uneven burn and had to relight twice, but surprisingly it did not turn bitter until the last third. Up until then the flavor profile was similar to the regular Corojo's but had a hint of the LTD line. I'll let the others settle down in the humidor for a week before I try one again.

After reading Gyrepin's "the ritual" post I had no choice but to have a midnight smoke...Hemingway Classic.

6/10

Just finished an Ashton Cabinet Pyramid. Very good. fairly mild, but lots of flavor. We likes it, we do. :D
