So the big hawaii trip and at the last minute my fiance had to bail. She is getting her masters and then on to her doctorate in clinical psychology. The teacher told her that if she misses the one class next week to go to hawaii she will fail and not get her masters or be able to go on to get her doctorate. What a bitch. So know I am out a plane ticket and a woman next week. It really sucks becuase a lot of my family cant make it to the wedding from overseas so this reunion was her chance to meet some of my extended family. :(

I bought her an all day spa package while we were there. Since I will be a little more lonely without her and the extra funds from the spa package I bought myslef a sony PSP for the trip.

I have not yet played with it. Anyone have any experience with these things?

Sorry to hear you won't have as great a time in Hawaii, that sucks. PSP is not bad for Sony's first attempt at portability. For a gaming device it's great, but for everything else it still falls short.
The battery life could be longer and a charge time of over two hours needs to be improved. Graphics are great. Since it utilizes the memory stick, I've also used the PSP as an electronic photo album.

Thanks for the info axe. I had to sell all my x box games last week becuase my x box laser burned up. Rather then buy a new one I figured I would wait for X box 360 to come out later this year and use the psp for travel and to keep me through until the new x box gits the shelves. :D

I'm looking forward to the 360 as well. Did you read the TIME feature on it? It was the cover story in the 5/23 issue, which also has articles on the other gaming giants. Plus there's an interview with Dave Chappelle

Hey mac, not to burst your bubble...The 360 is backwards compatible....Didn't have to sell if you didn't want to! But you probably already knew that!

I heard about that. I only sold the games i did not want anymore.

Cool Beans! I don't see why they wouldn't be anyhow, they are not switching media, so, they should be able to read the dang things! Now for those who have modified Xboxs with large hard drives....Wellll...No dice!
