Ok, I'll give this a try...... Jose L. Piedra was founded in 1880. The cigars are made in Santa Clara, Cuba, at the Holguin factory. They are considered a mild to medium smoke, with what they call "strong flavors". They cost between 72.00 and 100.00 for a box of 25, depending on the size of cigar. So don't be afraid to smoke it. Hope this helps!! Ryan

Right on Capt...Nice post! Let us know what you think of it Shake man!!

Not sure if that is true any more?
Cuba has moved and change most if not all of where they roll cigars.
It is just the way they do things.
I say that "IMHO" I could find out if it matters, but that is the talk around the water cooler.

CC, I tried to find an answer to the location. That is the most recent location I could find. You are right though, according to my research, the factory has been moved two or three times. One more piece of information I found. The reason they are less expensive is they are a short filler smoke. Nonetheless, they are still a good beginner Cuban cigar, and from the reviews I have found, a good value too. Ryan
