Montecristo Serie V

My smokeshop has a bunch of these, so I picked one up to try out. What can I expect from this smoke? The one I got is a robusto size.

meh...nevermind. I just finished it. It wasn't terrible, it actually started out pretty good, but it got bland a couple inches down. Definitely not worth 8 bucks IMO.

They have been discontinued by the manufacturer. Profbably a good reason for it. I find a lot of the montecristos all taste the same. With the exception of the white label.

I smoked a motecristo last year at the renaissance festival, but I dont remember which type it was. It went well with the glass of mead I bought from the same vendor.

I have a few of the classic line as well as the Serie V's in my humidor. But I don't think I'll be smoking them any time soon unless I need to cleanse my palate
