modern marvels

This is one of the best shows on TV today.

IMO one of the better shows on tv. They have a way of making topics which are seemingly uninteresting, and exposes them in a way that as you said, keeps you "glued to the tv." After watching the one on the Pacific Coast Highway back in January, it motivated me to go ahead and drive it border to border :lol:

I am a big fan of "Rescue Me". Not just because I'm a fireman, its the only show that really depicts Firefighters and the girls on the show are hot too.

"Rescue Me" is great. A couple weeks ago I was watching an episode on the plane. It was the one when the girl was called a certain word :wink:
I started laughing so loud I scared the hell out of the people around me :lol:

I recorded "Over There" last night and will watch it later. From the previews it looks good.

What channel is this show on? I don't watch much TV if it's not sports but I can TV a couple episodes and check it out.

Some of my favorite shows. Dennis Leahry is probably the best actor to play a firefighter too. Rescue Me is very enter entertaining if you know the life although sometimes not very accurate.

i used to watch modern marvels a lot. then when i moved, i didnt have cable hooked up for a couple weeks and i realised i didnt miss tv at all, i would just watch it cause i had nothing else to do. but now i dont watch tv, i just sit outside or do somthing constructive. that might change in the winter though.

The Learning Channel, The History Channel, The Discovery Channel.
That's all the TV you would ever need.
Drama, Excitement, Intrigue, Danger, Sorrow, Love.... And it's ALL REAL and not faked!

I prefer a lot of the MTV reality shows (I know I am going to get s#%t for that. I also enjoy 24 and a host of others. Lately I am completely glued to enterage and when sopranos comes back on watch out!!

One show I tinkered with for a while was scare tactics. I am not a huge fan of the scifi channel (infact I would usually never watch it) and I have the baldwins but some of the sketches on that show killed me.

I'm with Razor, TLC, History, Discovery, throw in the Food Channel and I'm all set, bores the hell out of my wife, but she can go into the other room and watch Average Joe or whatever

Modern Marvels is great, had one on distilleries awhile back, very interesting.

As far as reality shows go not a big fan, but the Surreal Life always cracks me up, so does Dog The Bounty Hunter. :lol:

Ya that chicks is smokin. That one guy with the hurt eye in the house is an idiot for not taking more advantage of that.

Markus I to love it when Dog slams some crack head into the pavement. Makes me happy

If it wasn't for Deadwood, The Sopranos or Entourage I'd never watch HBO.

<~~ Likes to watch real world too! I fall asleep everyday with the history channel on, my wife thinks I am crazy. I wish I couldv'e seen "over there" because I was over there, but I work 3pm to 11pm and get monday and tuesday off. Can't wait for the next season of the amazing race!

I can't stand most of TV....especially reality, and all that BS...

I like Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Discovery, History, Movie Channels...then I'm all good...

Entourage is a great show though....I don't really have Cable now so I've missed the whole new season! Good thing they make DVD's out of everything!

i read an article that had reactions from a bunch of military folk that saw an advanced screening of that show and they all said it was garbage and made them all look like hollywood jerks.

You's guys that are into the Sopranos will be glad to hear,
