oscuro question

Try a Partagas Black Label. Very good.

The one's I've seen are painted on!

Bock y Ca has an Oscuro wrapper, very hard to come by currently, they are out of production but are suppose to be back in production soon supposedly they were transferring there facilities from honduras to nicaragua. If you can find them the perfecto oscuro is a great cigar.

Wasn't refering to that cigar - only that many of the really black cigars out there are colored to be black.
Never seen a Party Black so I can't say?

OK, I gotcha. I looked pretty closely at the Partagas Blacks I had because they are really nice looking and they didn't appear to be modified.

I think a lot of the Manufacturers die Maduro wrappers more than most people think....

There are a lot of misconceptions about Maduro wrappers....for one....It's NOT a Color, It's a FLAVOR, two..Maduro's are percieved as "Strong," which isn't true. Maduro wrappers are suppose to be rich and full flavored with an almost sweet texture on the palate (A true Maduro anyway) Just becasue a Wrapper is dark, doesn't make it Maduro.....
