August Newsletter - Now Available

I'm pretty excited about introducing the Wine Article....

It's not everyday you can get a soon to be 'Master Wine Sommelier' to write an aarticle for you....

Each month he's going to get more into detail on tasting...This one is sort of an introduction piece....

ooooh, wine tasting and cigars, I'm setting aside a couple hours tomorrow morning after I sober up to read the newletter

Just finished reading the newsletter. Cigar.com did it again! The Cusano interview was great. His passion reflects greatly in the quality of product he puts out. Great interview Thor. Plus your piece on cigar ash should finally put any uncertainties to rest. The wine piece really blew me away. One of the aspects of my training that I look forward to involves tasting and pairing wine and food. While it won't put me anywhere near the same level of expertise as Mr. Beteta, it will certainly help me to create the perfect pairings...now that I have a head start :D I like that he will be an ongoing contributor to the newsletter. I'll be reading this one over and over again for a long time to come.

ya i am going to go brownbag a wine like he recommends and am going to try to pull up a review like he laid out the tasting criteria. sounds like a hell of a lot of fun.

Macallan, not to stray of topic, but which Penfold's Shiraz was it that you recommended a while back? I know I could search the archives, but it's hot today and I'm lazy

Oh, and I'm right with you on trying the brown-bag technique...good thing I recently re-painted my walls white
