Whew 11 hrs that is a long time at work, what do you do? Oh well at least the cigar reward and the view was great

i manage a budget blinds franchise, the one that pays for the place i was smoking the cigar at :D
my mom owns it

Ahhhhh, Calibus, it all depends on what kind of beer you are smoking.

I used to drink lots of beautiful imports and domestic microbrews. Something began to happen to me about three years ago, that really didn't hit me with any profundity until this year. I no longer have a taste for beer, and when I do drink it, I just don't react well any more. Mentally, I sort of miss my favorites, because beer replaced bourbon during the summer, but since I no longer have a taste for it, "missing" it is more conceptual than actual. For anyone who wants to see some of the beers I used to drink, and what some of the other beer fans here like, check out some of the discussions on Spiritus Fermenti.

Evidently it's not just you Blooth, I understand that beer drinking is down and the hard stuff is up. Bildo, it is hard to beat the sights and sounds of a marina, adding in a great smoke, beverage :D makes it perfect!

Wow. Very interesting. Is that because everyone's getting old like me, and naturally gravitating toward whiskey???

as far as liquor i drink vodka on the rocks, but it was just time for a beer yesterday.

I never use Ice in my single malts, just a fine cigar , single malt, & coffee on the side, strog enough not to need a cup to keep it in, thick & strong, let the scotch mellow it out ~ ahhh Heaven

Bloof, I don't doubt that some beers have a better taste than others but in the end, they are all bitter. I just don't have the tastebuds for that. I'll admit that on occasion, on a very hot day, an ice cold beer hits the spot, but that is about the only time I can ever stomach one.

Billy Boy, I thought I gave you a beer lesson in Savannah ? Do I have to drive all the way back to S.C. to give you another lesson? Churchill's in Savannah was awsome!

you did teach me well, but my mom supplied that beer. I have been trying everything i could since you left also.

Big Tom , you sure do get arrrrround ! I know you have been here & now there , where havent you been yet ? hahaha Enjoy, Vince

I am sorry to say I haven't been to see you lately. I am working on that.
