I just got a box of AF Cuban Coronas to stash away for a Christmas party we’re having. I figured I’d try one out, wow, the thing wouldn’t draw for squat, total disappointment. Could it be that they are a bit too moist for transit and letting them sit for awhile will improve them or, did I find the bad one in the box? Comments.

Well,
there are much more knowledgable guys here that can comment, but getting a bad roll in a batch is always a possibility. I'd let em sit for a while around 65 to 70 % humidity and try another one in a month or two.

I got a box of those several months ago and I had the same problem...a lot of them were very tight and I actually threw several in the trash. I dunno what to tell you. They're great cigars when the draw isn't too tight.

I have had a couple and they were great! Maybe you got the shaft with your box :( :x

I've gone through boxes of those and I've found that the only time they didn't burn correctly was when I didn't let them rest long enough...I think I read somewhere that Fuente tests the draw on their cigars, so that would lead me to believe that it isn't a construction issue...but you never know.
