If I had a friend bring some cigars to me from a said country. Would they stay fresh for over a week in 2 ziplock bags with a few humipacks?

Most definitely.

But for my quick response to your query, I shall require one stick!

Just kidding.

I find it amazing how many Americans claim to go to Cuba...when we are not allowed to vacation over there. Only reasons we are allowed to go over is if for political or news type stuff...And even then, one is not allowed to bring back ANYTHING that was purchased while on the island. When Clinton got in office, the law that said we could bring back $100 worth of cigars was tightened even more, to where nothing at all was allowed to come back.

Although...The Cold War is over. Ditch the embargo(he'll be dead in 12), and let those 600-900 political 'criminals' come home. If anyone deserves an embargo, its China and Iran...

They are actually going on vacation in Czech Republic...

Ahh..right.

Seems most the time when people dont mention the country..they tend to be refering to that large island south of Miami.

In any fashion, it's not worth the risk to me of a 50k fine and prison time to get caught bringing Cuban goods into the country, even if bought while on vacation somewhere else.

Ill find out soon enough... Have a friend in Alaska thats sending me a couple smokes to try out, thew in a Cohiba Singlo 1 iirc. Good smoke?

Damn, I wish I had a friend who would take care of me like that!

I've only had one cuban before. It was from Mexico, so I'm not sure if it was real or not.

My buddy in Iraq has gotten a few but he can't send those or bring any back from there. Customs is so touchy when it comes to military bringing things home from there!

My local cigar shop has some pre-embargo ones but I can't really afford those on my salary! Besides, what if I REALLY like them and just HAVE to get more?......I think that my wife would D-I-V-O-R-C-E me, especially with a baby on the way!

Rgr. As soon as my PDA charges back up, ill get that too you.

Wow..I carried my gaming lingo to the cigar boards.

I guess I should mention that Im a total computer nerd, in every aspect of the meaning(ehh, except the whole pale, pimply and fat thing, im rather attractive, and keep up with the ladies :)) Was a member of a professional computer gaming clan for nearly 2 years, played a certain WWII based game, used the term roger for voice coms during gaming...wow. Call me nerd!

I wasn't making fun of you. That's how I talk, too!
Then again, I play war games for real.

What WWII game did you play?

Naw its cool, I knew you werent.
Battlefield 1942 for the first year, and then the second year played the same game with modern combat/warfare mod to the game called Desert Combat, which featured all the good stuff from the early 90's with the Gulf War and such.

I LOVE THOSE GAMES!

I played them both A LOT when they first came out.
I had to stop though, it was all I was doing when I came home from work!

You should check out Battlefield 2 then. Its incredible, and BF2 is modern combat with amazing amazing physics.

I need to ask my brother about getting a copy. He's like you with the computer thing.
I'm sure he has a copy.
