I recently saw a weekly special on another cigar website for a box of Gurkha G3's for $99. It says the MSRP is around $250 and they got a shipment by mistake. Is anyone familiar with these cigars? Would $99 be worth it?

Apparently the G3 is a triple ligero. Probably similar to the K. Hansotia Triple Ligero X3. Here is a review of a G3, although it appears that the reviewed version had a natural wrapper.
Maybe some of the cigar.com guys can comment on these, the G3 was supposedly at the 73rd RTDA.

Another online retailer is now offering "Gurkha X3" cigars in identical packaging as the G3s, except the inner lid says K. Hansotia instead of Gurkha. The description looks like a rip off of the Gurkha XO description. I suspect that they are really just the K. Hansotia X3 in the new, unique leather box.
Those triple ligeros are nice. Cigar.com stocks them, but you have to call as they are not on the site.
Thanks for the information about these everyone. I apologize, it looks like the retail price is $180 not $250. I'll let you know how they are as I've never had any Gurkha.

mine came on monday great looking package. will light one up on tuesday just to see how they are they look great and smell very good 
I got mine today. Syn, I'll send you one after thanksgiving. One disappointment is that you really can't put the whole thing in your humidor with the leather. I made that mistake once for two days and it took a few weeks to get out the smell. I took them all out and put them in my smaller humidor. Looking forward to trying one in the next few days.
