I tried one of these a couple of weeks ago for the first time, and well I love it! So clean, easy to use. My shop didn't have any thing else to use at the time, so I used what was there, and I must say I'm very impressed with it. I went and bought a cheap one today, along with some opus x's for thanks. Any body else use these?

Every once in a while I do. I am so lazy not that I usually just take the cap off my cigars with my fingers. I always forget my cutter at home. The wedge cut is a lot of fun though. It has a good feel.

I was talkin with Capt last night I believe it was, and he mentioned that you told him about taking the cap off with your fingers. Would you mind explaining the process and a possible picture of the end result?
Thanks!

I have a v-cutter, I rarely use it though, it's a cool concept, just doesn't float my boat.

I have a large table mounted V cutter in the Qtr.Deck , it is clear lucite with brass gears & handle , I love a V Cut on a torp , just drop it in the hole pull the handle & BAMM a great cut almist every time, I do need to get a new blade for it, it is the orginal blade & it must be 12/15 years old by now , I also have 2 "pocket" units, one looks like a double finger cutter & works well, the other is a smaller one that just isnt as sharp as it should be , looks like a davidoff , but it is a knock off, worked fine on the first few cigars , but when I used it on a BIG 60 ring Imenssa , it crapped out , , one of these days I will get them both sharpened, , I carry a nice pocket knife to finish & some times start a V Cut , Enjoy, Vince

My problem with the V-Cut is I always want to stick my tongue
in the little slit and then the cigar gets all soft & mushy.
Just to much back brain activity for a cigar.
I'll stick with my double blades!
