I woke up yesterday morning to 3 inches of snow and 15 degrees. This morning, 3 inches of snow and 10 degrees, with a wind chill of -10 Degrees. I think I am going to have to wait until May for my Short Story and coffee ritual to start again!!

I don't know what the laws are but, are there any smoker friendly coffee places? Or, bars that open at 6am? I don't see how you can wait until May! There must be something. . .

I can smoke at the local cigar shop, and a couple bars, but they don't open until at least10 am. I could actually smoke in my office if I REALLY wanted, but my wife thinks the smoke might ruin our tanning bed.

Which is why I moved to the west coast...I love the snow, just not when I had to go to work in it.
From now until May, every time I have a Short Story and coffee, I'll take a few puffs for you my friend

What about the CAR?

Hell I'd be in the car heat blasting listening to the radio with my
Java and morning smoke in hand!

At our house I drive the Ashtray & my wife drive a pocketbook!

you need a smoking room , get your self one og the lawn buidlings that builders Square or Lowes has, get a wooden one , insulate it well, add the interior panells , the base board heat & an exaust fan , you can add the a/c in the summer , the entire thing cost me about 3500 , lawn furniture for the first year, & then when your wife wants new living room stuff you get the old stuff for the smoking room . , if your not handy with tools & electric , then find cigar smokers who are handy, trade labor for cigars & time in the smoking room ! , no one looses, you are all winners , you win, get to have a smoke any weather , your wife wins, she gets new furniture, & your buddys win, a place to smoke, , I see your in MI. I am about 6 hours from Flint , come & check mine out ! Enjoy, Vince

Vince, I would love to come check your room out. Maybe after you are feeling a bit better, and the holidays pass, I may just come knocking on your door with Opus and libation in hand. Hopefully you can make it to the Cigar-B-Q at my place this summer. Since you are a chef, you can man the BBQ and smoker with Axegod!!

if you got a nice covered porch just enclose a section of it with plastic or even wood if your so inclined and put a nice 15k btu propane heater in it. if you leave cracks in the bottom and the top, the heater will create a slight draft going through the space upward bringing in fresh air and venting the smoke. its about 40 degrees outside and when i have the heater going i can sit outside and smoke with out my hands getting cold with just a coat not even zipped up.

Capt. I would love to man the grill & smoker, anytime , if you are in the Pittsburgh area any time soon be sure to stop , I live a few miles from the Pa Turnpike where I -79 & state 19 cross, big exit on the pike there , if you want directions just give me a call , pm, or email
Enjoy, Vince
