was nothing short of fantastic! Just finished smoking an OpusX Fuente Fuente size. Wow! Perfect draw, wonderful construction, great aroma, and the smoke almost seemed kinda 'fruity' at the first 1/4 of the cigar. Seemed a medium bodied smoke. For the 12.50 I paid at the shop, Ill be buying 2 more tommorrow :). He just got his Christmas Shipment in of Anejo and OpusX, so Imma be visiting every day for 2 till they are gone. Be a wonderful 'snack' to smoke after basic training!

Ill be taking orders for SINGLE opusX, 2 per day from now, until they have sold out of them. He has like 7 different sizes, and all the boxes are full right now. Dad Im sure will fill my current appetite for them lol ;)(I know he'll poke in here sometime tonight or tommorrow).
I know how expensive they are for you guys, so I figure Ill help yall out. Ill get all the sizes and prices when I go back down tommorrow and post them for you guys should any of you want to have me send(will be cost +s/h)

2 more tomorrow @ $12.50 = $25.00. That's the same amount that you couldn't afford for the God of Fire????????????????????

Who said they were comming outta my wallet? lol *nudges dad*

How bout the Anejos? I'd really like to try one or two of those but my shop doesn't sell them. Think tou could help a brother smoker out?

Sure thing. I paid 8.40 and 7.40 for the 2 I bought today. Ill let ya know what sizes I got in the morning, watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban right now lol....

Could you check the prices on the ones he carries. I'll take at least one of each at those prices.

I cant get more than two opus and two anejo a day, thats how he keeps Fuente happy and his prices low. I know hes startin to run out of Anejo, and will prolly be out by monday or tuesday. So I can buy 2, my brother can buy 2, and my dad can buy 2. That makes 6 per day total if I can get dad and brother to go out there with me of the opus and the anejo.

The anejo that I bought today where the Reserva XtraViejo No. 46 and No. 50.

Now, with lack of funds, I cannot prepurchase anything. Ill go down tommorrow and get prices and list of what he has. After that, PM for my addy.

That's cool. I can certainly understand the money part. I might even have something for your Dad and Brother for their part.

Haha. If I wasnt so broke, Id help out on prepurchasing. I have to send out several packages tommorrow, so that will prolly drain the last of my funds until Christmas.
Since joining this forum, I have sent out and recieved more packages in the past 2 months than I did in the past year. lol

I have too.

It really occured to me today though how much my cigars have cut into my everyday life. Last night I was miserable because I had to work in bad weather and I didn't have any cold weather shoes or pants (came home and my jean legs were actually frozen). So today I finally went out and bought a pair of boots and Carhartt lined pants. Ended up spending 180 bucks. Once I got out to my car I thought "If I went back and returned these, I could get myself a couple of boxes of cigars."

Opus X is a really good smoke. I had the Perfecxion X size, and really enjoyed it! My local shop also has the same purchase limitation to 2 sticks per person per day.

Syntax, when you open your Opus X store, don't post sizes and prices here. Just put up a post informing people that you have them. All of the rest should be done through PM.

A word about the creeping commercialism that some of you are beginning to display regarding certain cigars you have that others are interested in.

NO MORE SIZES AND PRICES!!! NO MORE SOLICITING!!!

Just put up a post telling people I have Mama Mia's Spicy Meata da Balla Cigarra, four sizes. Send PM if you are interested. Some of you are putting up sizes, prices, etc. as though you are running a cigar store. Such posts will be deleted in the future, if they are found.

You keep those boots and pants Quag, you will own and enjoy them for many many winters to come!!

Good winter clothing is priceless!

Alrighty Bloof, sorry about that.

Opus X, Buncha sizes. No prepurchase, PM me if interested.

No problem. Things like bad times and good times go in cycles on web sites, and it takes a lot of time reading and participating for us who work them to keep up. When trouble starts, and we've had a few incidents over the past few months, it gets even more time consuming.

When things go well, as they started to once again recently, people relax, conversation flows freely, and sometimes even moderators and administrators get a little lax or let some fastballs go by. I want to make sure that the tight ship we run at AmBack stays tight. Thanks for understanding.

You know, somehow I knew you'd react to that.

Don't forget Pappa Giuseppe's Hota D'Italian Sausage.

Man... I miss real Italian food. Americanized Italian sucks...
( I used to live in Naples, Italy for 3 years during dads duty station)

:eek:mg: THAT must've been cool. If there's ever one place I'd like to visit outside of this country, it's been Italy. JUST for the food.

Just make sure you stay out of Naples, Rome, Pinetamare, and other area..its an armpit. Northern and southern Italy are the places to be.
