Congratulations my man, welcome to the forum! That's the best Christmas present I can think of. Definitely post in the introduce yourself thread so we can find out more about you. The folks on this forum are the best.

Enjoy this time - it goes too quickly!

Congrats, man!

I just had a daughter 8 weeks ago so I feel your pain about sleep!

Just enjoy the quiet that you're gonna have for the next few days because after that.....welcome to my world of no sleep for the next year!

Semper Fidelis!

Congrats! What's his name? Any pics yet? How's your wife?

:birthday: son of michuck

I'll smoke a cigar to celebrate

DD:

It gets better, brother! I had one that was the worst sleeper - now at night it gets too quiet and I have to check on both of my kids while they sleep. You quickly forget the sleepless nights.

But DD is dead on about getting some sleep right now - rest up man!

but in no time at all, they will be leaving the house. Take the time now to spend with them and cheerish those sleepless nights spent with them. It goes by way too fast. I have a son who is 17 and a daughter who is 14 and I can still remember those sleepless nights as if it were yesterday and those memories are good, now!!

congrats on the birth of your son. this is a special gift that you must treasure every moment. having lost my 19 yr old son this year to a motorcycle accident you must treasure every moment as tommorow is never gauranteed so hug and love him and may god be with you

Congratulations from one father to another. I have a 19 month old at home and it seems that just yesterday he cooing, babbling, newborn, now he's running around the house and jumping off the couches. The time truly flies by, enjoy!!!!

Congrats, Michuck! We'll all smoke a cigar to help celebrate this wonderful gift you received!

Congrats!!! Sleep......Whats that? I haven't slept since my first little angel was born. I had a best friend growing up whose B-day was the 26th. He had a party for his birthday, but , because it was so close to Christmas his parents would have 2nd party for him on June 26th, invite all his friends and have a nice bash. That way his special day wasn't completely interfeared with by Christmas. Good luck and enjoy.

Welcome to the forum Michuck, and....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

My 16 year old was exactly the same size, and now he is over 6 feet tall, sooo look out, and enjoy the ride.

I remember that day like it was yesterday, it just seems that him and his 14 year old sister just shouldn't be that big already!!

You only go through this stage once with them, and like Montana says, they soon will leave home.

But, I wouldn't trade this experiance for anything in the world!!

Congratulations once again!

Congratulations michuck. I have no kids of my own but after babysitting my neices I concur, you will value sleep like gold!
