so, how do i go about fixing the cigars? do i put it under the wrapper to hold it to the binder or do i put it on the outside over the crack?

well i tried it tonight on a cheapy cigar, just took my knife and put a nice long cut on it. even though it was a cheapy i still cringed watching the blade cut the wrapper. i put the glue under the wrapper and a nice coat on top of the wrapper. i just used a toothpick, worked easy enough. i put it in a plastic bag to dry, it will take longer in the bag but i dont want the cigar going dry on me do i?

This ain't rocket science guys! I have a small tupperware "thing" with pre-mixed fruit pectin in it for just such emergencies!

Take a small amount in your fingers and gently place it on the back of the wrapper leaf and replace the leaf! Gently rub over the repair and let it dry!

If the tear is deeper than the wrapper, just do the same thing. You might have to force a small amount of pectin into a deep crack (no jokes here, please!), and then rub over the top to seal it. Let it dry. Smoke the heck out of the cigar when it's dry!

That's it!
