What are you guys smoking for tonight's festivities?

I'll be smoking an Anejo #49

Once again I am working, but I did bring a few sticks. Maybe a Graycliff Espresso.

The wife is the maid of honor in a wedding so I will be celebrating downtown at a hotel. Because I am not sure if I will be allowed to smoke or how much time I have, I am playing it safe with a Diamond Crown Robusto No. 4 and a Camacho Corojo Dark Figurado.

I am opening a box of Partagas Pyramids from Nov or 2000

To me these (Party Pyramid EL) are the Holy Grail of Edition Limitada
These and the Monte Robusto El were the best of the EL production.
(also the first release were above and beyond much better than any others release of the same cigars.
Oct/Nov was the first release of the Party Pyramids -
I prefered the Monte at first but now I think the Partagas have grown to amazing!

Not sure what else we'll be smoking, but I think I have another couple sticks around here if I look

I'll be home among family and friends so I'll be able to sit back and enjoy some cigars once I'm finished in the kitchen.
These 2 cigars will lost their battle with the torch tonight:

That picture is worth a thousand words..... Or a thousand dollars...

You guys get better so you can enjoy the beginning of a new year. No smokes tonight, its going to be Monopoly time!! Maybe tomorrow afternoon, we shall see. I might get to finish that ITSFM that I have been saving.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

That forbidden X is really cool. I got to meet Arturo Sandoval when he played here in Tucson. I missed half of his show (I was at a wedding) but, got to meet him after. He even gave me a CAO gold cigar. I didn't smoke with him because I was also sick that night.

Too bad you were sick and couldn't smoke with Mr. Sandoval, but it's pretty damn cool that you got to meet him!
Every time "For Love or Country" with Andy Garcia is on I have to light up a Cuban and watch it :D

You bought a box of Anejo's? I hope you got them at a good price. That would be like two weeks wages for me.

I'll only buy boxes of Añejo's if the price is right. Luckily for me, the price has been right many times
That particular box is the #50. Kelvin and I smoked numbers 5 and 6 out of that box, and if I remember correctly he thought it was pretty good 8)

New Years day I went over to a friends house (she gave me a Bolivar Petit Corona and a Cohiba Panetela) we sat by the fire-pit outside and drank Glenmorangie Port Wood Finish Scotch (so tasty.) The Bolivar was an awesome, smooth smoke with a dark grey ash. I had to keep re-lighting it and I didn't mind a bit. I smoked it to the nub.

Wow! I'm glad I have another Bolivar resting in my desk-top (given to me by a kind gentleman here on the forum THANK YOU, Ryan!)

I didn't have the chance to smoke anything for the New Year. It rained non-stop from Sunday morning to Monday night. By then, wife told me to have a cigar for the new year. Yeah, it was too cold and windy to go outside at nightfall. If you folks saw the Rose Parade on TV, that's what the weather was like in Southern CA.

Today, on the otherhand, is a fine day. I just may light up a Padron 1964, as it's begging to come out of the humi.
