Darn it!
been sick since friday eve...had a stick on saturday eve with my fellow partyers but it tasted horrid....

I've been feeling alittle better and I might try one tomoorow....not sure yet....I miss my little friends.....

What, did you already go the ones I sent you.

Sorry that you're sick, hope you feel better.

The last time I was sick (just a couple of weeks ago) I hated more that I couldn't smoke cigars then the being sick part.

That sucks. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks all.
I don't handle being sick well..my wife says I get cranky
I do seem to be on the upswing though....feeling better today than I have all week. I usually can get thru the winter with out catching anything, but I must have let my guard down....drat!

Oh well....only 75 days till spring!...or is it 74....

Feel better Ravyn.

Last time I was sick was during my Butchery class which sucked because the classroom was kept at 50 degrees with ceiling fans constantly going. I was no fun to be around.

Since then I've used Airborne (and no I don't get any kickback from them), and I haven't gotten sick yet.

...that being said, I'll probably come down with something tomorrow

My wife swears by that Airborne.

I started taking it too late...was already doing down.....

I take Vits and echinasea...I usually do really well at staving off the little critters...

You say you need a cigar. I know it's generalized statement but what cigar would you like? Name it......if I have it, it's yours!

Always willing to help a friend in NEED!

Steve, I feel for you. And I understand your craving for winter to be over. Me too; how long can I suffer in this 60 degree weather?

What's Airborne? GNC-type stuff?
It's something you can buy at the drugstore. It's (I guess) loaded with vitamins and minerals to help prevent catching a cold. I think a teacher came up with the formula.

Yeah, an elementary school teacher came up with it after being fed up with catching her student's illnesses.
It reminds me of alka-seltzer, but tastes better. Walgreens even has their own version of it which is like 2 or 3 bucks cheaper.

60 Degrees, our thermometer would have to go up almost 75 degrees to reach 60. But I cannot complain, January is usually our coldest month, and it looks like this year it is going to be a Pussy cat.

Sorry to hear you are sick Ravyn, I know what you are going through, I had that flu/cold thing last month, and it is a DRAG.

well,
its friday...just gotta get thru work today...I'll have the weekend to rest some. Have to take Christmas down though...thats a bummer...but....we're closer to summer...so thats good. :D

Still kicking over having a smoke tonite....will decide tonite after dinner...

Ahh...
Monday!
Well, I had a cigar friday nite. Not bad, but not good either. Palette is still aliittle wacked from the cold. Had another on Saturday and it wasn't much better. Had one after the Steeler win Sunday eve and it was better but not great. I guess that means I'm getting better.
I guess they'll taste good by next weekend. Took down most of Christmas....will be starting my annual winter indoor wife project soon, and before you know it....spring! :D

Steve: I am glad that you are on the road to recovery. Sorry it's taking you so long dood, but please know that I have been trying to make up for your lost time and having been enjoying double my normal intake; all for you dood!
