At first glance I noticed how big it was incomparison to my normal Partagas SD4. Nice ring guage much the same compared to the Montecristo in my opinion. Felt nice and silky. I used a Xikor cigar cutter and snipped the end off. A perfect cut - I was a happy man. I gently smelled the cigar and it smelled excellent. The quality of the stick was superb. Much better then the hit or miss that you find with the Montecristo #2. (my other fav) I lit the cigar with a long wooden match and took three deep puffs. Can heaven be described? I was simply astounded by the flavor that flowed across my pallet. I took a sip of the scotch while I gazed longingly at the lit cigar held between my index and thumb. About half way down the stick I was surprised that it didnt get bitter or hot. The ash was still holding on for dear life but after about 30 minutes of smoking it gave way and fell into the crystal ashtray. I took 2 puffs every 45 seconds so as to not burn the cigar to quickly. About the time it burnt down to the band I was buzzing. Not sure if it was the 50% scotch or the nicotine in the stogie but I felt great. I ended up burning the cigar down to the point my own fingers were getting toasty. This could easily be my new favorite and something I would smoke everytime. If it were not for the hefty price tag that is... SIGH.... A+++

I've said it before; I'll say it again..

I know what you mean. I re-read my review and wish I had another cohiba to go home to tonight.
