Las Vegas questions

I have a few questions regarding Las Vegas. Hopefully some of you have the info I seek.

Have you seen the Cigars of the World cart at McCarran Airport? They have their own brand, have you tried one? Is there a cigar lounge at the airport?

Have you been to the Don Pablo Cigar Factory? They roll their own cigars and prices are cheap, 2-3 bucks a stick. Are they worth checking out?

Have you been to the Las Vegas Cigar Company? They supposedly roll cigars on site. Are they worth checking out?

Is the Davidoff of Geneva at The Venetian worth going to, just to look?

Have you been to the Mardi Gras Cigar Shop in the Rio? Have you tried the house brand, Malecon?

Is there a particular cigar (exclusive or hard to get) you can recommend from the Casa Fuente Store at Caesar's Palace? Can you bring your own cigar into the bar there and smoke?

Any other cigar activity recommendations for a Vegas visit?

Thanks all!

Hey Freedom;
I saw no cigar lounge at the airport, just a nasty little smoking room.

I never really ventured off the strip when I was there.

Casa Fuente was the only place I went to. In the forum shoppes at Ceaser's.
We'll be eating dinner at Chinois on Saturday night, that's when I'll be there.
Very cool, You'll be drooling!
The Casa Fuente is the cigar to get there. About $25.00/stik!

I'm planning on getting over to Fremont on Friday night.

Doh - should have been more specific - are you manning a booth or just checking it out? Which one if you are manning one?

How about Razor? Is he at a booth? Which one?

Ouch, I'll see if I can budget that in...probably depends on how the tables treat me.

I'll be at the Glock party at Caeser's on Friday night...I may be down on Fremont afterwards. I won't be in town on Sat/Sun.

SHOT, Vegas, Cigars, Superbowl Weekend! WOW! Sounds like you guys found heaven!

I didn't know there were so many cigar shops there. Only knew of Casa Fuente at Caesars. I hope to try one of their Casa Fuente cigars one day.

Hope you folks have a great time!

Just shopping, Cybrus. Razor is hanging out at the Small Arms Mfg/ER Shaw booth.

Thanks, Doc-T...I'm gettin' excited.

I'm tagging along with one of my customers. ER Shaw Barrels booth 8803. I'll have at least 5 or 6 of my customers there and will be doing some networking thru the whole show.

My wife and I will be having dinner at Ceaser's Friday night.

Freedom: You have to go home with a Casa Fuente, It's the only place to get them.

I'll try to hang out there for a smoke on Friday night after dinner.

The wife usually crashes early and I get my allotment of cash and head for a craps table. She can't stand to watch me throw money away.

I hate you all!!!!

especially my brother RazorKing....

I'm going to sulk at the Quarter deck tonite!!!!

so there....

Ravyn! You going huh? Bastard!
I'm comitted tonite already.
I could use an evening of scotch, smoke and bullshit!

Give Vince a couple of those Camacho Nudes to try. I'll replenish your supply.

"Is the Davidoff of Geneva at The Venetian worth going to, just to look?" I wasn't impressed with it. The kids working there annoyed the heck out of me. They didn't know a thing about cigars. I left empty handed.

I do recommend going to zeffirino's. We had dinner there and it was nice and quiet. The food was tasty.

Vegas, for me, is all about free booze. I only smoked one cigar while I was there.

at Ceasers there are 2 cigar shops - Casa Fuente & another
(don't know the name) they sell Pre-embargo Cubans
very expensive $100-$400 a stick
Interesting to look at.

I smoked a cigar in the airport when there.
They have a little box (with slots) for smoking.
Beyond taht can't say

Casa Fuente does have some other Fuente stuff that would be hard to find other places. BBMF, LBMF, & others
The Casa Fuente cigar is only sold at Casa Fuente.
(I bought a lighter there) Nice shop I'm sure you could sit there have coffee & any cigar - but you can smoke everywhere in Vegas so why?

Good plan...although I expect I'll be smoking a lot more than one cigar. Thanks for the info!

Is the other one, Alfred Dunhill? I'll check it out.

WOW! I guess I'll pass on the 'little box'. I hope you meant 'slot machines' and not slots in the side of the little box to allow the occupant some air!

This question was probably rhetorical, but I will answer anyway. I was hoping it was a nice atmosphere to hang out in and I have limited funds (and time, so maybe I will just take a tour of the shop). It's gotta beat the box at the airport though!
